EBIR is very pleased to collaborate with the PERFORM-AI project, which contributes to promoting entrepreneurship in the European Union for the adoption of Artificial Intelligence in companies. Today, there is no longer any doubt that AI has become an area of strategic importance and a key driver of economic development in the EU.
This initiative is funded by the Erasmus+ KA2 Programme for innovation and the exchange of good practice with strategic partnerships for adult education. Indeed, one of the main challenges for the EU to be competitive is ensuring the uptake of AI technology throughout its economy.
It is for this reason that, at EBIR, we wish to use our participation in this initiative to give voice to our commitment to innovation, one of our main hallmarks. A clear example of this is that we were the first manufacturer in Europe to launch LED bathroom luminaires on the market.
In this sense, the innovation process at EBIR consists of three basic pillars: product portfolio development, in order to cover the needs of the latest trends and sufficient portfolio breadth to be able to cover the market and provide our product with industrial protection; secondly, we are responsible for market surveillance, where we use Big Data information; and lastly, we provide internal support in the management of opportunities, such as the introduction of new markets and new countries.
At EBIR we firmly believe in promoting innovation as a tool to face all the business challenges of the future.
